I hope nobody minds, but can I use this space to vent? I went to a wedding shower for an admittedly immature 28 year old this summer. It is October, her wedding is done and her first baby is due in a few weeks. I have still not received a thank you card for the gift I gave at the shower OR the wedding. I really wish she were having a baby shower so I could DENY! It is her 4th kid but she is tacky enough to require her friends to throw her one. Gosh I hope she has one so I can say NO. Sorry, I am totally off topic from the blog, but I just feel like I have to stress for the few people out there that don't know to send thank you cards. Anybody else have experience with people that don't send thank you cards?
I love weddings! They celebrate the love of a man and a woman as they promise to love each other forever. We will ignore the 50% divorce rate in this fantasy. Picking out the gift is one of the most fun parts of the occasion for me. There is a right way and a wrong way to go about getting a wedding gift for the bride and groom. We'll take a look at different options throughout this blog. Hopefully this will make your next wedding gift purchase a little easier to pick out.
