Wedding Gift Etiquette

since we are having a cigar roller, I figured I should order customized match books as well. I have been researching but I am finding a lot of places charge “proof” fees. Does anyone have any good recommendations on specific companies, feedback or recommendations of avoiding paying the “proof” fee? any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
