When you’re a bridesmaid, is it proper etiquette to buy a wedding gift or is being a bridesmaid all you need?
I am unsure of the U.S. wedding etiquette for gift giving. Lately, I have been noticing everyone expects a gift for anything with an invitation attached to it. But where I am from, your gift to the couple is being a part of the wedding (not to mention the expense of the dress, etc.). I would like to know the actual U.S. etiquette rules and not have to guess.
